Summary
These Terms govern your use of Shaadi Parrot (the “App”), operated by DeLuca Family Universe LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older to use the App.
- You may use the App only for personal, lawful purposes.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
2. User content and conduct
You are responsible for what you post (photos, bio, messages). You agree not to upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or involves minors, and not to impersonate others, scam, spam, or request money. Face verification must be done by you, with your own face and your own photos. We may refuse or remove a verified badge if a check shows the photos aren’t yours, or if one person verifies more than one account.
3. Safety
The App helps you meet new people, but we cannot guarantee user behavior. Use common sense and follow the Safety Tips inside the App. If something feels wrong, block and report.
4. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, remove, or restrict content and accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may suspend or terminate access at any time to protect users and the platform.
5. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
If you buy a subscription or digital feature in Shaadi Parrot, the following terms apply:
- Billing and payment are processed by your Google Play account, not directly by Shaadi Parrot.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends (or as required by your store rules).
- Free trials (if offered) automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
- Refunds are handled by the app store under Google Play’s refund policies, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- Prices may change from time to time. Where required by law or store policy, notice or consent will be provided before new pricing takes effect.
- If a renewal payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend paid features until billing is successfully completed.
- Digital items and subscription benefits are licensed, not sold. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed outside the App.
6. Disclaimer and limitation
The App is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so your rights may vary.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Grievance redressal (India)
If you are in India, you can raise a complaint about content in the App, another user, or how your account was handled by writing to our Grievance Officer, Arsen Khasiev, at support@shaadiparrot.com with the subject “Grievance”. Please include your registered phone number, the profile or content concerned and a short description.
- We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
- Content that shows a person in nudity or a sexual act, or impersonates someone, is removed or disabled within 24 hours of a valid complaint.
- You can also report any profile or message directly in the App (Report / Block).
- If you are not satisfied with our decision, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
9. Governing law and disputes
If you live in India, these Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live. For everyone else, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection or data protection laws of the place where you live. Before going to court, please write to us at support@shaadiparrot.com so we can try to fix the problem.
10. Our YouTube channel
Our cartoons are also published on our YouTube channel, youtube.com/@ShaadiParrot. Watching or interacting with them on YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. We upload our own videos with YouTube API Services; how that works and what data it touches is explained in our Privacy policy.
