Who these standards cover
Shaadi Parrot: Rishta & Kundli (the "App", Android package com.shaadiparrot.app) is a matrimony app with kundli matching, published on Google Play by Shaadi Parrot Labs and operated by DeLuca Family Universe LLC. These standards apply to every profile, photo, message, report and other content in the App and on shaadiparrot.com.
1) Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strictly prohibited on Shaadi Parrot. This includes, without exception:
- any child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video, drawing, text or other content that shows or describes a minor in a sexual way, including AI-generated or edited content;
- grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor, or a parent or guardian, in order to sexually abuse or exploit a child;
- sexualising minors in any way, including comments about a child's body;
- sextortion: threatening a minor, or anyone, with sexual images;
- trafficking of children, and child marriage: arranging or promoting the marriage of anyone below the legal age (18 for a bride and 21 for a groom in India);
- asking for, offering, sharing or linking to any of the above.
2) Adults only
Shaadi Parrot is only for adults. Everyone confirms they are 18 or older before using the App, and a groom must be 21 or older to have a rishta profile. Children never have profiles. Parents may add their children to "My family" only for their kundli, baby names and good dates; that information stays private in the parent's account and is never shown to others.
3) How to report, inside the App
- Report a safety concern: open it from the start screen (no account needed), from Settings, or from any kundli result, choose "A child may be at risk, or someone here is under 18", describe what happened and send.
- Report a profile or a chat: open the profile or the chat, tap Report and choose "Looks underage" or "Nude or sexual photo". The profile is hidden from everyone at once while our team checks it.
- By email: write to support@shaadiparrot.com with the subject "Child safety".
If a child is in immediate danger, call 112 (India's emergency number) or 1098 (Childline India), or your local emergency number.
4) What we do when we learn of CSAE
- Reports about a child are reviewed first. Our admins are alerted at once, and a reported profile is hidden from everyone immediately.
- We remove the content and permanently ban the accounts involved. Banned people may not come back with a new account.
- We preserve the evidence as the law requires and report it to the competent authorities: in India, through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and to the police under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000; and, where it applies, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests about child safety.
5) Prevention
- Every photo is checked automatically before it appears on a profile, and nude or sexual photos are not allowed.
- Chats and reports are checked for abuse, and the "Verified" badge needs a live face check.
- Phone numbers are never shown, and locations are rounded to about 2 km.
6) Compliance with the law
Shaadi Parrot complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including India's POCSO Act, 2012, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, and United States law where it applies.
7) Child safety contact
Our designated contact for child safety and these standards is Arsen Khasiev, Grievance Officer, at support@shaadiparrot.com (subject "Child safety"). We acknowledge child safety reports within 24 hours.
