How Mithu reads your kundli
Guna Milan, also called Ashtakoota, compares where the Moon stood when each of you was born: its sign (your rashi) and its nakshatra. Eight checks, called kootas, add up to 36 points.
18 is the usual minimum for a match, 25 and up is very good, and above 32 is rare. Mithu uses the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, like most Indian panchangs, and the same maths as the Shaadi Parrot app.

Questions
Do I need the birth time?
No. The Moon moves about 13° a day, so on some days it changes nakshatra. Without a time, Mithu reads the Moon at noon and also tells you the lowest and highest score the day allows. Add both birth times for the exact score.
We scored under 18. Is that bad?
Traditionally 18 is the line families look for, but plenty of happy couples score lower. A low score points to where you need more patience, not to a verdict. Read the kootas below your score to see which ones.
What about Manglik dosha?
Manglik needs Mars and the Lagna, which come from an exact birth time and place. The Shaadi Parrot app checks it in every fate reading, along with Nadi, Bhakoot and Gana dosha.
Does anyone see what I type?
No. Everything is worked out on your phone. Names and birth dates are not sent anywhere. Your own details are remembered on this phone only, so the next check is quicker.
Is it the same as in the app?
Yes. The site uses the same tables and rules as the Shaadi Parrot app’s Daily Fates, where Mithu checks Guna Milan for every person he picks for you.
