What is Shaadi Parrot?
A dating app for Indian singles who take love seriously. A parrot astrologer called Mithu picks three people for you every day, every profile shows why you match, and Parrot AI helps you talk. You also get a daily Vedic horoscope and 90 relationship tests.
Is it a dating app or a matrimony site?
A dating app. You choose what you’re looking for, from a serious long-term partner to seeing where it goes, and you talk to people directly. There are no family accounts or biodata forms.
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or older. You sign in with your phone number, which is never shown to other people.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Shaadi Parrot is on Android, on Google Play.
What language is the app in?
English.
Matching
What are daily fates?
Every morning Mithu picks three people for you. You open one a day and read the fate: interests, lifestyle, compatibility, relationship outlook, the cosmic side and a final verdict. Then you accept the fate or skip it for now.
What does “Why you match” mean?
Profiles in your feed come with a short note on what you have in common, so you know why someone was shown to you before you like them.
What are likes, crowns and boosts?
A like shows interest; if the other person likes you back, it’s a match and you can chat. A crown is a super like that helps you stand out. A boost puts your profile in front of more people for a while. Crowns and boosts come in packs of three through Google Play.
Is there a limit on likes?
Free members get a daily number of likes. Parrot+ removes the limit.
Parrot AI and astrology
What can Parrot AI do?
Suggest replies when you’re stuck, rewrite your bio, break down a match (strengths, red flags, conversation starters and a first-date plan), and answer astrology questions. Messages you send to Parrot are processed by an AI provider to generate replies.
How does the horoscope work?
We use the Vedic (sidereal) zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa and put the Moon and your nakshatra first. Your reading arrives every morning at 7:30 AM IST. Your birth date is enough to start; birth time and place make it more precise.
Do you do Kundli matching?
The Astrology Library explains Kundli matching and Guna Milan in plain English, along with nakshatras, doshas, dashas and more. Fate readings include a cosmic section, but they are not a formal Guna Milan score.
Do I have to believe in astrology?
No. The horoscope and fate readings are for fun and reflection. Who you talk to is always your call.
Safety and privacy
What do other people see about me?
Your profile card: name, age, photos, bio, city, a rough distance and the details you choose to show. Never your phone number or exact location.
How do I report or block someone?
Open their profile or your chat, tap Report or Block. Our team reviews every report. See the safety centre for more.
How does face verification work?
The front camera opens in the app. You keep your face in the oval and follow Mithu: look straight, then two quick moves like a turn or a smile. The app takes the photos by itself, and our server checks that it’s you in your profile photos. It takes about 20 seconds. Verified people get a badge and Daily Fates.
Who sees my face check photos?
Other users never do. Usually no one does: the check is automatic. If it isn’t sure, a person on our team takes one more look. Two of the three photos are deleted right away, and you can remove the rest in Daily Fates › Settings › Remove my verification. Details are in the privacy policy.

Account and billing
Is Shaadi Parrot free?
Yes. Parrot+ is an optional monthly plan that shows who likes you, removes the like limit, gives unlimited Parrot AI, opens every astrology section and skips full-screen ads. Compare free and Parrot+.
How do I cancel Parrot+?
In Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Parrot+ stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings › Delete my account. Without the app: request deletion here.
